Martin Waymire was retained to plan and execute the launch of Bridge, a new online news magazine providing in-depth coverage of the most pressing public policy issues facing Michigan. We smashed all contract metrics for attracting subscribers and generating website visitors and page views. Most important, to assure long-term growth, we succeeded in positioning Bridge as serious, high-quality journalism. In a post-launch survey of Bridge subscribers, 90.7% said the stories were accurate and well-researched; 95% said well-written and edited; and 91% said story quality was as good as or better than stories in daily papers.
