Matt Franks

Matt’s role as an student practitioner at Martin Waymire involves supporting account executives by promoting positive client interactions through integral research and planning, media outreach and social media management.
In addition to Martin Waymire, Matt serves as the director of public relations for ASMSU — Michigan State University’s student-run government. Prior to Martin Waymire, Matt interned with GQ Magazine as an advertising sales intern where he acted as an interim sales assistant. Matt has also interned with Michigan State University’s Marketing Communications as a marketing intern. While at Marketing Communications, Matt was responsible for budget planning, developing calculated strategies and tactics and media placement.
When Matt’s not working in our office, he is attending Michigan State University in pursuit of a bachelors degree in advertising with a specialization in public relations, and a minor in Spanish. Matt is also the president of MSU PRSSA (Public Relations Student Society of America). Matt is also an avid tennis player, reality TV junkie and Hillary Clinton advocate…2016?!
Adam Ilenich
Adam’s role as a student practitioner involves supporting account executives by editing press releases and creating presentations for clients dealing with the importance social media and crisis communications.
Prior to joining the Martin Waymire team, Adam interned with the Michigan Apple Committee where his primary role was to create a completely new crisis communications plan for the agency. He has also interned at the Lansing City Pulse and the 52nd District Court 3rd Division.
Adam is currently a junior at Michigan State University pursuing a double major in journalism with a specialization in public relations and political theory and constitutional democracy in the James Madison College. Adam has taken multiple advertising, writing and public relations courses at Michigan State University as well as becoming involved in VIM Magazine, the Public Relations Student Society of America, Hubbell Connections and Ed2010.
