If you missed it, our sixth annual Martin Waymire Gives Project came to an end last week. We hope you enjoyed learning about this year’s participants:
- Firecracker Foundation, which helps child abuse survivors;
- Ingham County Animal Shelter Fund, which cares for animals;
- Michigan Farmers Market Association, which helps make healthy food available from local farmers across the state.
Our Jan-NEW-ary Challenge
While the 2015 Gives Project might be over, it doesn’t mean the giving has to end until the next one. Here at Martin Waymire our driving force is to make Michigan a better place to live, work and play. This isn’t possible without everyone doing their part to contribute their time and talent in a collaborative effort.
So as we officially ring in 2016, let us propose this challenge: do your part to give back in your own way all year long. Be it financial contributions, your skills or time, give back to a cause that means something to you.
And we at Martin Waymire will join you. Between our staffers, everyone has their own passions that drive us to donating to organizations, not limited to the following causes: journalism, women’s rights, economic development, higher education, human rights initiatives, municipal government, the arts and more.
