Two of Michigan’s leading communications companies, Brogan & Partners and Martin Waymire, announced a strategic alliance that will expand their ability to serve the communications needs of a diverse client base.
Headquartered in Birmingham, Brogan is one of Michigan’s most recognized full-service marketing firms, offering clients exceptional strategic services, innovative media buying and award-winning creative executions with a focus on creating marketing that emotionally engages. Based in Lansing, Martin Waymire provides public relations services, with a special focus on media relations, crisis communications, strategic communications consulting and execution, ballot campaign and public policy issue management, and more. Both firms have deep expertise in digital and social media planning and execution.
The two firms have teamed up in the past, working collaboratively this year with the Michigan Department of Community Health to provide communications support for the rollout of the Healthy Michigan Plan. The plan’s enrollment in its first four months met the goals set for the entire first year, enrolling more than 326,000 working men and women in the innovative state-developed health insurance program.
The firms’ combined service specialties include advertising, marketing, branding, media relations, social and digital media, and crisis communications. Industry and policy specialties include health care, education, telecommunications, energy and utilities, food, insurance, local government, and more.
“Aligning the nationally-recognized public relations talents of Martin Waymire with the extraordinary advertising, marketing and branding talents and successes of Brogan & Partners will benefit both agencies’ clients, present and future,” said Martin Waymire Partner Roger Martin, APR. “The cultures and personalities of both firms fit well together, and our strengths are complimentary.”
“The two firms have deep benches, long histories of success at the highest levels, and the ability to think smart and implement communications programs across multiple platforms,” said Brogan Managing Partner Ellyn Davidson. “Most important is how well both firms work together and blend our unique strengths for the benefit of clients.”
