We are excited to announce the promotion of Jessica Tramontana to senior account executive.
Jessica has been with us for more than two years and brings more than 15 years of journalism, policy, legislative and political experience to the firm. She is an award-winning practitioner and part of the legacy of journalists-turned-PR-pros, having previously worked in television news markets in Flint, Traverse City and Grand Rapids. Jessica also worked in the Michigan Legislature as press secretary/communications director with the Michigan House, senior communications adviser for the Michigan Senate and communications director for Progress Michigan. At Martin Waymire, she has capitalized on her experience with video to spearhead several video projects used by clients as an innovative and effective way to communicate with audiences.
Well-versed in public-speaking, media relations and strategic communications, Jessica provides valuable insight to advance policy initiatives for Martin Waymire’s clients, including the Michigan College Access Network, Michigan Council for Maternal and Child Health, Lansing Board of Water & Light, Protect Michigan Jobs, Switch and more.

Jessica serves as Membership Chair and Director at Large with the Central Michigan Public Relations Society of America (CMPRSA). She is a member of Women Working Wonders through the Sparrow Foundation, a member of the Junior League of Lansing, and a volunteer with Tri-County TRIAD. She served as a mentor/volunteer at the College of Communications Arts & Sciences at Michigan State University in fall 2015.
