LANSING, Mich. – Martin Waymire, a Michigan-based, full-service public relations and digital marketing firm with a focus on public policy, today announced the hiring of Kamryn Johnson as an assistant communications strategist.
Johnson is a recent graduate of the University of Michigan-Dearborn, where he earned a bachelor’s degree in communications with a minor in music and a certificate of public relations. He was involved in many student organizations including Phi Beta Sigma Fraternity, Inc., the Student Activities Board and the National Pan-Hellenic Council.
Kamryn gained PR experience during his internship with Hitman Entertainment, where he helped promote music artists through branding and earned media strategies. He also created a public relations campaign for Detroit-based bicycle shop Metropolis Cycles for a class project.
