Martin Waymire adds account executive, two assistant account executives to support firm’s growth
Nate Darling, Charlotte Taylor and Madison Wertz boost firm’s digital and creative expertise
LANSING, Mich. — Martin Waymire, a Lansing-based, full-service public relations and digital marketing firm with a focus on public policy, announced today the addition of Account Executive Nate Darling and Assistant Account Executives Charlotte Taylor and Madison Wertz to its award-winning team.
Darling joins Martin Waymire from Foster Swift Collins & Smith, a Lansing law firm with more than a century of practice. At Foster Swift, Darling strategically managed the firm’s social media and web presence. He also provided thought leadership, individualized training and resources for attorneys who sought to develop their own unique marketing plans.
By bringing all multimedia creative services in-house, Darling modernized the firm’s recruiting, web and social media marketing through his photography and video capabilities. He regularly collaborated with Foster Swift’s community partners to capture their stories. At Martin Waymire, Darling will support digital strategy and multimedia efforts. He is a graduate of Michigan State University, where he received his Bachelor of Arts in advertising with a minor in public relations.
Taylor joins Martin Waymire as a recent graduate of Michigan State University, where she received her Bachelor of Science in advertising management with a minor in public relations. Before joining the team, she worked as a social media and marketing intern for the City of Lansing.
At the City of Lansing, Taylor worked exclusively with the Parking Services Office and Mayor Andy Schor’s communications team on marketing campaigns for the $12 million Extreme Makeover project that has transformed the parking system throughout Lansing. She assisted with social media management and graphic design, improving her political communications skills. Taylor will support social media and digital strategy efforts at Martin Waymire.
Wertz is a recent graduate of Michigan State University with a Bachelor of Arts in media and information and a minor in interactive media design. She comes to Martin Waymire from Vlahakis Companies, where she led communications efforts for the real estate brokerage.
At Vlahakis, she implemented innovative digital strategies, provided graphic design support and managed social media communications for their various entities, including their restaurant, El Azteco. She facilitated the rebranding process for their Construction and Development branches and assisted with website redesigns. Wertz will support Martin Waymire’s digital communication and social media efforts.
“Adding Nate, Madison and Charlotte to the team enables Martin Waymire to provide clients with even stronger strategic communication, social and digital media efforts,” said Martin Waymire partner Roger Martin, APR. “Nate comes from the complex world of legal marketing from which he brings experience managing overall corporate messaging, and is well-suited to work with clients on multimedia projects, including podcast and video production. Madison pairs her strong design capabilities with a wealth of social media experience to provide clients with content that consistently drives engagement. Charlotte brings a strong background in social media management and graphic design that strengthens our formidable digital and social team.”
