Martin Waymire, a Lansing-based public relations and digital marketing firm, was recognized today as one of Michigan’s top 100 “Cool Places to Work” by Crain’s Detroit Business. Martin Waymire ranked 18th on the list and was the top-ranked business headquartered in Lansing.
Crain’s Detroit Business partners with Best Companies Group out of Harrisburg, Pennsylvania, which ranks the applicants based on data from an extensive employer questionnaire and on the results of confidential, company-wide employee surveys with questions on workplace culture, company leadership and other aspects of work. Any Michigan company with at least 15 employees can participate.
The 2022 rankings were unveiled today during a virtual event and profiles on each company will be published in a special commemorative digital and print report in Crain’s Detroit Business’ August 22nd issue.
Martin Waymire stood out as a “cool” company because it offers a hybrid schedule to accommodate each employee’s needs, reimburses employees for health expenses or gym memberships and allows employees to bring pets and children to work.
