LANSING, Mich.Martin Waymire, a Lansing-based, full-service public relations and digital marketing firm with a focus on public policy, added a new member to the team and promoted another as it continues its award-winning efforts to help clients make Michigan a better place.

Katie Jesaitis joins Martin Waymire as a communications strategist after five years with United States Representative Debbie Dingell, where she served as a Washtenaw area community liaison in Michigan’s 12th district. Jesaitis has experience in communications, coalition building, policy and political advocacy and messaging. She has worked on political campaigns at all levels, and in Congresswoman Dingell’s office her focus has been on building coalitions of support around environmental issues, addressing domestic and sexual violence, and working with local technology and mobility communities to encourage their growth and development here in Michigan.

“Katie’s policy and advocacy experience provides tremendous value to our firm and the clients we serve,” said Martin Waymire Partner Andie Poole, APR. “We are thrilled to expand our team as we continue serving companies, organizations and campaigns that are making Michigan a better place.”
