LANSING, Mich. – Martin Waymire, a Lansing-based, full-service public relations and digital marketing firm with a focus on public policy, has added three staff members and promoted two as it continues its award-winning efforts to help clients make Michigan a better place.

“2018 was a marquee year for Martin Waymire, and we are thrilled to expand our team to provide even better service to our clients,” said Partner Roger Martin, APR. “These additions and promotions will help us stay at the cutting edge of integrating digital media and traditional tactics as our business grows.”

Amelia Quilon, who comes from a digital advertising agency based in Detroit, brings several years of experience in digital media analytics to her role as account executive. As co-incorporator and communications director of the Voters Not Politicians YES on Proposal 2 campaign, Quilon brings digital strategy and design expertise to the table to help our clients expand the reach and effectiveness of their digital presence. Originally from Ohio, Quilon holds an industrial & systems engineering degree from The Ohio State University and was the marketing director for a women’s employee resource group.

Assistant Account Executive Rachel Nanzer’s mission is to provide the communication skills organizations need to better aid the communities they serve. A graduate of Michigan State University with a bachelor’s degree in professional writing, Nanzer has worked as a graphic designer, social media strategist, web manager and writer for various Lansing nonprofits and organizations. She previously worked with the Information Technology Empowerment Center (ITEC), the Multi-Racial Unity Living Experience (MRULE) and Christian Services.

David Solce, digital media manager, is a graduate of Saginaw Valley State University with a degree in marketing. After graduation, Solce moved to Houston, Texas, where he worked for the Houston First Corporation, an organization focused on improving life and promoting tourism in Houston. He managed social media brands such as Visit Houston and Avenida Houston and worked with the NFL, NCAA and tourism boards on print, digital and social media campaigns to promote the city as a leisure destination on a local and national level. Prior to joining Martin Waymire, Solce was the social media manager for Anderson Marketing Group, a marketing agency in San Antonio, Texas, where he worked with many local businesses on social media strategy, content creation, and advertising campaigns.

Two Martin Waymire team members have earned new positions and titles, reflecting their increased roles and additional responsibilities. Elizabeth Battiste was promoted to senior account executive and Emily Mata is now an account executive. Both joined the team in December of 2016.

“Elizabeth and Emily have provided a tremendous amount of value to our team and our clients,” said Partner David Waymire. “They are committed to our company values of excellence, teamwork, winning with balance, and continuing to learn and grow. These promotions reflect the dedication and hard work they have put in for our clients over the past two years.”
