Jack Harrison
Jack Harrison is a rising senior at Michigan State University studying political theory & constitutional democracy in James Madison College, journalism and public relations. Before joining Martin Waymire, Jack reported for the East Lansing Info and worked for The State News. Jack was also active in politics, serving as public relations chairman and manager for The Michigan Federation of College Republicans. He brings experience working on political campaigns and interning in the Michigan House of Representatives. Jack is excited to work at Martin Waymire to grow his experience with social media, graphics and media relations.
Jack is involved in MSU’s student government, ASMSU, serving as the chief of staff. Jack just completed serving as a student ambassador for James Madison College. In his free time, he enjoys golfing and spending time with his friends, along with serving on University Council at MSU and the Michigan Secretary of State’s Collegiate Student Advisory Task Force.
Hometown: Ann Arbor, Michigan
Favorite part of working at Martin Waymire so far: I love the office culture and collaborative work environment at Martin Waymire! Everyone takes their work seriously, but they are also very fun and friendly to work alongside. I’m also grateful they give student practitioners the ability to have important roles on client teams.
What he loves most about Michigan: Going up north in the summer and enjoying the Great Lakes!
What he’s currently listening to: I often listen to whatever is on the radio and the latest hits, but lately I have been listening to 70s and 80s music.

Anna McCastle
Anna McCastle is a rising senior at Central Michigan University majoring in integrative public relations and Spanish.
Prior to joining Martin Waymire, Anna was a student intern for CMU’s Department of Biology where she helped create and manage their social media channels, interviewed faculty and students about their research, and highlighted the accomplishments and successes of students and alumni. She is a member of CMU’s chapter of the Public Relations Student Society of America, where she serves on the events and fundraising committee and the communications committee. Anna also works as an account consultant for PR Central, a student-run PR firm on campus. She is excited to learn from the best PR professionals at Martin Waymire, and apply her knowledge back at CMU and beyond. In her free time, Anna enjoys traveling, going to concerts, hammocking, spending time with family and friends, and playing with her dog Oakley!

What she loves most about Michigan: There is nothing better than Michigan summers! Lake days up north, kayaking, hammocking, ice cream, and bonfires at night are my favorite!
Favorite part of working at Martin Waymire so far: The atmosphere and the people! I knew coming into this internship that I was going to learn from some amazing professionals, but they have truly gone beyond my expectations with their kindness and willingness to help with anything you need!
What she listens to: I love country music, but I will give any genre at least one chance!

Karina Stankowski
Karina is a rising junior at Michigan State University majoring in Advertising Management, with minors in Graphic Design, Peace & Justice Studies, and Entrepreneurship & Innovation. She has previously interned for a handful of startup companies and worked at MSU’s Burgess Institute for Entrepreneurship, where she gained valuable experience in marketing, public relations, and communications. Karina now looks forward to expanding her PR knowledge and skillset at Martin Waymire and is excited to learn from the team of public relations professionals.
In her spare time, Karina is a musician, a portrait and fashion photographer, and a book-lover.
Hometown: Grand Rapids, Michigan
What she loves most about Michigan: I think Michigan has some cool and unique local businesses, so it’s always fun to explore different areas, support the community, and see what interesting new things I can find!
Favorite part of working at Martin Waymire so far: Definitely the people! Not only is everyone on the team amazing at what they do, but they have also been friendly, genuine and helpful.
What she’s currently listening to: Music from Amber Mark, Joseph Lawrence, Elton John, Doja Cat, Jon Vinyl, and always Beyoncé.
