Movin’ on …
After nearly 14 years in our old house at Ottawa and Chestnut in downtown Lansing, Martin Waymire (MW) is moving to new digs.
While where we will be working is changing, our passion for working for clients seeking to make Michigan a better place remains the unwavering foundation and commitment of our growing agency.
Our old house served us well. In it we and our clients won the nation’s top award for public relations excellence, the Silver Anvil (MW agency staffers proudly, and remarkably, count three Silver Anvils in their careers). We and our clients won multiple Best of Show awards for our region and the state. We earned the title of Google All-Star Agency for the performance of our social media work. Most important, our clients continue to tell us in annual satisfaction surveys, the quality of our work is broadly excellent — though we can always improve in certain areas, like everyone can. We don’t always win, but we will always give our best with team members who embrace our four core values: excellence, teamwork, winning with balance, and continuing to learn and grow.
… to the Fox 47 Building
Of course we’re staying in downtown Lansing, a city we love and will never leave.
On Friday, Feb. 16 we move into our new offices at the corner of Pine and I-496 in what is commonly known as “The Fox 47 Building.” The official address is 600 W. St. Joseph Highway, Suite 100, Lansing 48933. Our phone number remains unchanged, 517-485-6600.
We are more than doubling our office space to 6,000-plus square feet. Every MW team member is getting their own office — each with a window!
We have two large conference rooms and more than 80 on-site parking spaces, which means plenty of room for certain special events, news conferences, training sessions, and all types of meetings. The entire space has been gutted and redone: new lights, ceiling tiles, carpeting, window treatments, paint, kitchen space, hardwood floors, appliances, and on and on.
We will be planning an open house this summer, so please watch for the invitation. In the meantime, drop by for a visit.
