Giving is the true spirit of the holiday season. To express gratitude to our clients, community and state, Martin Waymire celebrates the holidays with our MW Gives Project by supporting local and state nonprofit organizations that are working to make Michigan a better place.

We launched MW Gives about a decade ago, and it is now our holiday tradition. In past years, we’ve supported organizations that feed the hungry, provide shelter to families in need and the homeless, and deliver services to our military veterans. As a way to protect the First Amendment, a free press and real news, we’ve given hundreds of subscriptions to Michigan newspapers to residents across the state. We’ve also given to organizations helping survivors of sexual violence, children in need of health care, and women seeking economic self-sufficiency.

For MW Gives 2019, we are supporting three arts organizations that are working to strengthen and beautify our community through creativity. They are Peppermint Creek Theatre Company, All of the Above Hip Hop Academy, and the Arts Council of Greater Lansing! We are making financial donations and volunteering time with each organization. Our MW team is made up of writers, artists, musicians, singers and actors who couldn’t be more thrilled to give back to these organizations.

At Martin Waymire, we work hard to make Michigan a better place to live, work and play, and the organizations that we have partnered with are doing important things in the community that make this shared vision possible. MW Gives is our holiday tradition of showing gratitude and appreciation to people and organizations that are making a difference in the lives of thousands of Michiganders.
