MW Gives Project 2018: Dogs and Paws

During the holidays…
Some firms send fruit baskets. Others send seasonal tchotchkes.

For nearly a decade, our holiday tradition at Martin Waymire has been to put the spirit in the season by giving back. Instead of gifts, we identify businesses and nonprofits in #LoveLansing that we can offer communications strategy and counsel (along with a monetary donation) as a “thank you” for the services they provide to our community.

This year, the “Martin Waymire (MW) Gives Project” is going to the dogs. Literally.

Our office dogs are an integral part of our company culture, but we don’t just love our dogs—we love all dogs (okay, cats too). That’s why the 2018 MW Gives Project will help three animal-related nonprofit organizations. We’ll announce the organizations on our blog and social media channels over the next few weeks, so be sure to follow along and learn more about these “top dogs.”

The Martin Waymire Gives Project began in 2010 as a way to demonstrate the true meaning of the season. At Martin Waymire, we work hard to make Michigan a better place to live, work and play, and the organizations that we have partnered with over the last 10 years are doing important things in the community that make this shared vision possible. MW Gives is our way of showing gratitude and appreciation of their tireless work.

Most local nonprofits need all the help they can get—and that doesn’t necessarily mean money. This holiday season we encourage you to get involved in your communities in whatever way you can, whether that involves your time, talent or treasure. Together we can make Michigan a better place one kind act at a time.
