Jodi Parker joins us as a Graphic Design Specialist, bringing more than a decade of design experience to our Lansing-based full-service strategic communications and social media marketing firm.
Parker comes to the Martin Waymire team from the Michigan Economic Development Corporation, where her portfolio includes work on elements of the nationally acclaimed Pure Michigan campaign, and extensive experience designing info-graphics, logos, brochures, website and social channel materials, direct mail pieces, and more. She will provide both print and digital graphic design work to our clients.
“Adding Jodi to our Martin Waymire team helps us to manage the firm’s growth and shores up our ability to meet our clients’ growing demands for info-graphics and graphic designs for web-based digital applications,” said Partner Roger Martin, APR. “We’re thrilled to have Jodi on the team, and we are certain our clients will benefit from her talents.”
Jodi is also expected to work closely on projects and with clients who are serviced by teams of staffers from Martin Waymire and Brogan & Partners, one of Michigan’s most recognized full-service marketing firms, offering clients exceptional strategic services, innovative media buying and award-winning creative executions with a focus on creating marketing that emotionally engages. Ourselves and Brogan & Partners recently announced a strategic alliance that will expand our ability to serve the communications needs of a diverse client base. Brogan & Partners is headquartered in Birmingham.
Prior to joining us, Parker worked as a graphic arts designer at the Michigan Economic Development Corporation, where she worked closely on both the Pure Michigan and MiTalent campaigns. She also worked as a graphic designer at Lansing Community College (LCC), where she provided high-quality graphic designs to promote the people, programs, and special events of LCC.
Outside of work, Parker and her husband Kelly live in St. Johns with their two daughters, Cameron and Olivia. In her spare time Jodi serves as the publicity officer for the Parent Teacher Organization at her daughter’s elementary school, as well as a volunteer for the St. Johns Chamber of Commerce Mint Festival planning committee. This summer she was inducted into the Greater Lansing Area Sports Hall of Fame for her accomplishments on the softball field. She still enjoys playing recreational softball and volleyball, and is a staunch Detroit Tigers fan.
