Charlotte Taylor joined Martin Waymire as a graduate of Michigan State University, where she received her B.S. in advertising management and a minor in public relations. As a communications strategist, Charlotte brings her drive, ambition and positive attitude to Martin Waymire to help make Michigan a better place.
Charlotte leads the strategic social media and graphic design efforts for Michigan’s University Research Corridor, one of the nation’s top academic research clusters and leading force in Michigan for talent production, academic research, and economic revitalization. She has proven her exceptional graphic design skills by creating digital advertisements for Michigan Health & Hospital Association in their efforts to educate drivers about changes to the state’s auto no-fault laws. Charlotte supports social media management and strategy for a variety of clients, including Real Leaf Solutions and the International Safe Transit Association.
Prior to coming to Martin Waymire, Charlotte served as a social media and marketing intern for the City of Lansing, where she worked exclusively on marketing campaigns for the $12 million Extreme Makeover project to transform the parking system throughout Lansing. She worked closely with Lansing Mayor Andy Schor’s communications team, where she gained further experience in public policy communications and social media management.
In her free time, you can find Charlotte cheering on the Spartan basketball team, visiting local breweries in search of the best IPA and caring for her two cats, Theo and Ozzie.
